The International Foundation Program (IFP) is a course designed to help international students meet the academic requirements needed to start an undergraduate or postgraduate university program in another country.
Academic Preparation
The program provides foundational knowledge in subjects related to the student's intended degree, such as business, engineering, humanities, and science.
Language Skills
IFP focuses on learning and improving proficiency in the Chinese language, as it is often the medium of instruction at the target universities.
Cultural Orientation
The program helps students acclimate to China's educational and cultural environment, including study skills, academic writing, and an understanding of local traditions.
University Admission
Successful completion of the IFP often guarantees admission to a degree program at a member university and getting a scholarship.
